Achievements

Znaniecki proposed a culturalism (Polish kulturalizm) aspect in sociology. Based on data from this perspective, sociology should treat by owning a infects of culture, since it is the science all about culture. Znaniecki's culturalism is one of a ideas that founded modern sociological views of antipositivism.

Znaniecki proposed that social phenomena (Polish czynności społeczne) should be treated when active or even when expected cases of a single's actions (humanist principle, Polish współczynnik humanistyczny [http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wsp%C3%B3%C5%82czynnik_humanistyczny]). Based on data from this principle, a single's lives & ideas come of maximum importance & a sociologist should survey reality as a social actor (subjectively), non as an independent observer (objectively). When one of a foremost sociologists, he began analyzing home documents such as letters, autobiographies, diaries and similar items. Znaniecki's "social phenomena" occurs as big term so Max Weber's social actions.

Based on data from Znaniecki, sociology should analyze social relations, which are then composed of values. Their basic element is that of mortal beings. He recognized quaternary types of social relations: social acts (Polish czyny społeczne) - a virtually all elementary, such as salutation or even pleading, from each one composed of elements rather: population, information, cases, methods, results social relations (Polish stosunki społeczne)- require at least ii humans & the platform, such as privilige or even obligation social class action (Polish grupy społeczne)- any class action which a few humans recognize as a separate entity social personalities (Polish osobowości społeczne)- which are then created under influence of social movements

Znaniecki as well defined tetrad types of character and personality: a humourous human (Polish człowiek zabawny)- develops among people world health organization develop good deal instance, treats operate when fun a working human (Polish człowiek pracy)- develops among a working class social class, treats work as a life necessity a easily-well behaved human (Polish człowiek dobrze wychowany)- develops among a intelligentsia social class a aberrant human (Polish człowiek zboczeniec (dewiant))- well distinct from either the others, non universally inside the blackball perspective (he can be a genius or even a outlaw)
